Based on AEIC’s motto, “the knowledge of one is the knowledge of all”, this facilitated working session harnesses the collective genius in the room to solve challenges at the intersection of data centers and utilities.

Based on AEIC’s Grid Advancement Collaboration in partnership with InnovationForce, this workshop uses a trusted and disciplined process to turn real-world insights into action.  Participants start with clearly defined challenge statements and will be guided through a problem-solving series of prompts to formulate their solutions.

In the room, participants will work peer-to-peer on 3 urgent grid–data center challenges topics. Teams will share their experiences and perspectives to create stackable solutions that form real use cases that can be tested to solve current grid constraints.

We’ll answer:

  1. How to plan the non-linear future
  2. How to accelerate DER interconnection + integration
  3. How to deliver more flexible capacity

We’ll move quickly through a series of prompts to build up “big ideas” that can be framed to solve these real problems based on real life. After the workshop, each challenge track will produce a practical package:

  • Challenge brief
  • Use case framed around the challenge with a pilot pathway
  • Playbook outlining the process we followed

All outputs will be shared in an online collaboration portal for attendees to continue the conversation.

This workshop is a great way to meet other attendees before the conference even starts! Come ready to roll up your sleeves, network with your peers. Leave with clearly defined problem statements and peer-tested use cases ready to pilot.

To attend this event, you must add this to your registration. The cost is $185. This can be added to your registration when registering or after by visiting the vistor hub.
