Mr. Eric Gupta is a dedicated utility professional with fourteen years of experience in Electric Distribution engineering. He has fundamental expertise with using technology to drive key efficiency and reliability improvements for utilities.

He has participated in and led projects including 5–10-year Distribution capital investment plans, ADMS implementations for multiple bargaining units and control centers, DER integration, FLISR, IVVO, Field Area Networking, AMI and Distributed Intelligence.

Mr. Gupta is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, is the Treasurer of the IEEE Power and Energy Society/Industrial Applications Society Denver chapter, is a member of the DistribuTECH Industry Advisory Committee (2023 cybersecurity track chair) and is a board member for the Georgetown Hydroelectric Energy Museum in Georgetown, Colorado. He is also active in several IEEE working groups and task forces, including the CVR Measurement and Verification task force.
