Dr. Marcelo Sandoval is the Global Product Manager for Analytics at Landis+Gyr. Before joining Landis+Gyr he was the Co-founder and CEO of ProsumerGrid, where he successfully completed multi-million projects with electric utilities in the United States and organizations such as the Department of Energy ARPA-e, EPRI, Sandia National Labs, and NYSERDA related to Integrated Grid+DER Planning Analytics. In the past, he also worked for organizations such as ABB, Intel and Eaton Corporation. He has over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on distributed energy resources, power generation, transmission, distribution and microgrids planning, analytics, and advanced techno-economic assessment. He is a member of the Distributech Committee on Grid Modernization. Dr. Sandoval has received several recognitions including the Forbes Next1000 List of Innovators. Dr. Sandoval received his PhD and MBA from Georgia Tech and has certifications in Project Management, Management of Technology, Lean Six Sigma, and International Business Management.
