Dr. Po-Chen Chen is a business, transformation, and analytics leader in R&D and strategy implementation, enabling a data-driven culture and innovative solutions with over 15+ years of experience. He is currently a Consulting Director for Data, Analytics and AI Practice in LSHCERU Business Insights at Tata Consultancy Services. Po-Chen's focus areas include machine learning and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), computer vision models, cloud technology and infrastructure, and big data applications for various utility use cases. His power system background includes power system protection and control, voltage quality and stability, geographical information and system (GIS) and geospatial coding, vegetation management, outage management and restoration, and distributed energy resource (DER) and electric vehicle (EV) adoption.

Po-Chen has served in leadership positions of various industry and academic organizations, including Utility Analytic Institute’s (UAI), Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC) Data Analytics Council (DAC), DistribuTech Advisory Committee, IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Subcommittee on Big Data & Analytics (BDA) Working Group (WG), and International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) Working Groups.
