Prof. Santiago Grijalva is an expert in electricity grid operation and control, smart grid technologies and electricity markets. Prof. Grijalva has previous experience in industry (utility control centers) and was the funding director of NREL power engineering centerin charge of all the electricity energy integration research program at the $135 MM ESIF Facility. Prof. Grijalva has 250 peer-reviewed publications in the area of grid operations,  DER integration, grid data analytics and cyber-security.
