Andreas Klaube

Technical Leader III, EPRI

Andreas G. Klaube serves as a Technical Leader at the EPRI Power Research Institute, currently leading innovative research efforts with industry in the bulk system integration of variable energy resources, resource adequacy, climate resilience and performance analysis. 
Andreas has held extensive leadership roles within the electric power industry: focusing on bulk system reliability assessment and performance analysis, formerly chairing the NERC Reliability Assessment Subcommittee, NERC Probabilistic Assessment Working Group, and the NPCC CP-8 Working Group on the Review of Resource and Transmission Adequacy in the northeastern United States and Canada.  
He has held previous technical roles with the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC) and the United States Department of Navy. Andreas earned a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s in engineering from the Rutgers University School of Engineering. 
Andreas is a Member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society and an individual member of CIGRÉ.
