Bienvenido (Ben) Clarin

Bienvenido (Ben) Clarin is a Senior Principal at EPRI, where he leads research and development efforts around vehicle grid integration. His work focuses on advancing transportation electrification solutions at the intersection of technology, market, and policy. Through applied research demonstration and deployment projects in the field of smart energy communities, Bienvenido helps energy providers plan, operate, and manage future decarbonization programs. Prior to his work with EPRI, Bienvenido worked as an engineer in the renewable energy and transportation industries. He holds an MS in Sustainable Energy from Santa Clara University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
