Bria Shea

Bria Shea oversees government affairs and the regulatory strategy for resource planning for Xcel Energy’s Upper Midwest System. This includes the development and support of the Company’s regulatory requests for approval of resource plans, resource acquisitions, purchase power agreements, transmission planning and siting, grid modernization, and distribution planning in Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
Shea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Business Management from Gustavus Adolphus College and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
Shea serves on the board of directors for the YWCA Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Clean Energy Partnership, and the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce.
