David Golembeski

As a Senior Program Manager at IREC, David helps reform rules, regulatory policies, and technical standards to make clean energy widely accessible. He focuses on improving state interconnection standards. He also leads development of IREC’s 1547-2018 Adoption Tracker, which provides visibility into which jurisdictions have adopted the IEEE 1547-2018 technical standard and whether they've enabled advanced "grid support" functions such as Volt-Var and Volt-Watt. David holds a B.S. in Political Science and Communication Studies from Towson University and a M.S. in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University.
