Jamez Staples is founder and CEO of Renewable Energy Partners, a Minneapolis solar development firm since 2013.  He is an awarded and recognized leader regionally and nationally on the equitable transition to clean energy. REP develops solar and related energy technology projects with community benefits that also create training and employment opportunities for under-served communities.  Its projects include community solar gardens, resiliency hubs and virtual power plant configurations. REP sponsors energy skills training programs in solar, HVAC and energy efficiency for more than 200 individuals a year.
