Jason Wood

Jason Wood has worked in the electrical industry for 28 years.  After serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, he obtained his Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electrical Technology from Oklahoma State University Technical College.  He has worked for an Oklahoma Electric Cooperative Utility for the last 26 years as a Substation Maintenance Technician, Protective Relaying/Metering Technician, and Substation Superintendent.  He currently serves as Director of Field Operations, where he oversees the Substation, Line, and Facility Maintenance Departments that are responsible for maintaining over 300 electric transmission substations and approximately 3,000 miles of electric transmission lines.  He has been married to Rena for 30 years, and they have four children together.  He enjoys spending time with family and playing music in his free time.
