
Lee Ragsdale
Lee Ragsdale is a recognized industry leader in discovering and delivering innovative energy solutions that make our grid more flexible and resilient while providing consumer-members new ways to manage energy use. He testified before the US Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee on DER and microgrids, and the North Carolina Utilities Commission on the Distribution Operator, transmission planning, and integrating DER. He spearheads the cooperatives’ Distribution Operator initiative, integrating edge-of-grid resources, providing enhanced visibility and coordination across all 26 NC electric cooperatives for reliability on the grid. Lee holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration in Economics from Georgia State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina.
