Mike Wade is the CEO of Wild Rice Electric Cooperative in Mahnomen, MN. Wild Rice is a distribution electric cooperative which serves over 14,000 meters and is located in
northwestern Minnesota. Mike grew up in rural Texas where he started his electric cooperative career in 1989. After working in Texas for 24 years, he and his family first moved to Wisconsin and later to Minnesota. Mike holds a BA in Mathematics from Texas Tech University.
