Nick Ludowese is a seasoned energy industry professional with over 24 years of experience in system modeling, GIS, metering, data engineering, rate design, and analytics. As Manager of GIS & Data Analytics at Cass County Electric Cooperative, he specializes in integrating circuit models with accounting and metering data, leveraging advanced analytics to enhance grid awareness, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Nick has been instrumental in addressing key challenges such as grid topology awareness, voltage and blink monitoring, power quality assessment, EV penetration analysis, distributed energy resource (DER) integration, and rate optimization. His expertise also extends to complex billing systems, including incremental pricing, residential demand component billing, and subtractive metering utilizing high-frequency AMI data.

In addition, Nick developed a custom Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to enable real-time distribution topology analysis, integrating North America's most accurate GIS and OMS models. His contributions have significantly improved outage response, system planning, and operational reliability.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of North Dakota and is an alumnus of Northwest Lineman College. With his deep technical expertise and commitment to data-driven solutions, Nick is a recognized leader in the field of grid analytics and smart energy management.
