Pouya Najmaie is the Policy and Regulatory Director for Cooperative Energy Futures, a democratically-run, renewable energy cooperative with a focus on Energy Democracy based in Minnesota. Pouya works as a lobbyist at the Minnesota State Capitol where he works on passing and defending equitable renewable energy legislation and is a regulatory specialist at the MN Public Utilities Commission where he works on issues concerning renewable energy, the distribution grid, utility policy, and energy equity
