Rebecca Craft

Director of Strategy, Kevala

Rebecca is the Director of Strategy in Kevala’s Product and Strategy Group and has over 30 years of experience in the energy and finance sectors from the financing of independent power generation to design of demand management programs and distributed resource and clean energy strategies. She is a leader in the design of non-wires alternatives programs, efficiency and demand management programs, electrification strategies, and financing of energy innovations. Rebecca has designed seminal demand management programs and policies for utilities and clean energy and electrification programs for real estate developers. 

At Kevala, Rebecca leads strategy development and supports policy analysis, business planning, and client management. Rebecca also supports the Product organization tying strategic goals and policy analysis to tactical planning and product development. 

Rebecca is a lawyer by training and has been an active mentor and advisor to clean tech startups and investors in clean tech. She has extensive experience in sustainability and was a member of the electric grid working group that advised New York City on the implementation of its climate legislation, Local Law 97. Rebecca is currently the president and on the Board of Directors of the Sustainability Investment Leadership Council and advises the Knickerbocker Financial Group on due diligence for clean tech investments.
