Building Confidence in GETs: From Testing to Real-World Implementation
Grid-enhancing technologies (GETs) have demonstrated strong potential to unlock additional transmission capacity and accelerate interconnection timelines. However, broader deployment continues to depend on increased confidence across planning, operations, construction, and regulatory stakeholders. While GETs adoption is growing, confidence—not technology capability—remains a key barrier to scale. This panel will explore how cross-industry collaboration—across utilities, research organizations, national laboratories, and solution providers—is helping to reduce uncertainty and enable successful GETs deployment at scale.
