Casey Kirkpatrick

Director, Group Strategic Engineering, National Grid

Casey Kirkpatrick is Director of Group Strategic Engineering at National Grid, where his work centers on climate change resilience, engineering delivery at scale, and the grid's transition across the company's US and UK businesses. A National Grid veteran of more than two decades, he has worked across distribution planning and asset management, reliability and resilience, distributed generation interconnection, and research and development, in both Massachusetts and New York. Before entering the utility industry, he served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He holds an MBA and a graduate certificate in the Business of Energy from Clarkson, an MS in Power Systems Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.
