CEO, Gridraven

Georg's mission is to help power society with clean energy. Before founding Gridraven, Georg directed digitalization at Elering (the national grid of Estonia) leading a digitalization task force, authoring the digitalization strategy and guiding IT investments accordingly. At Elering Georg was in parallel the head of the Smart Grid Unit which was responsible for building a Europe-wide energy data access platform. Before Elering, Georg was the cofounder and CTO of Sympower, a flexibility provider today offering 1.5GW of flexibility to national grids and employing over 150 people. Georg holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy from Imperial College London.
