Holly Eagleston, PhD

CEO and Founder, Firescape

Holly Eagleston, Ph.D. is founder and CEO of Firescape, which builds wildfire risk and mitigation analytics for utilities, combining satellite imagery, fire-weather data, and machine learning to forecast ignition, spread, and consequence at the sub-circuit level. She founded the company out of Sandia National Laboratories, where she spent nearly six years as a remote sensing scientist leading a team developing wildfire risk models for grid security and resilience. Earlier, she held geospatial science roles with the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, mapping fuel conditions and predicting wildfire behavior during active incidents. She holds a Ph.D. in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis from Virginia Tech.
