Jim Walters has forged a career in the Electric Utility Industry focusing on strategy, innovation, and delivery excellence.  He is a recognized energy utility thought leader working with Utilities, Suppliers, EPRI and Industry Organizations such as UNITE and DistribuTECH to advance the adoption of technology and drive business outcomes.  Jim spent 43 years working at Exelon Corporation employed in Information Technology, Project Management, Contract Administration, Operations, Engineering Standards, Construction, Testing, Quality Assurance, and other areas. Jim has divided his career between Line of Business functions and Information Technology, applying his strong problem-solving skills to both.  As an IT Architect he developed solutions that advanced technology utilization while balancing the needs of end users to successfully drive benefit achievement.  Over the course of his journey, he has worked in many areas including IT, Corporate Services, Transmission Operations & Generation Dispatch, Distribution Engineering, Technical Services and Nuclear Plant Operations & Construction.  Jim has extensive experience in strategic analysis & planning; large & complex project scoping, planning, commercial negotiations, and delivery; M&A and Divestiture work; as well as several strategic initiatives and recovery efforts. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
