Josh Schellenberg

Principal and COO, H&S Insights

Josh is the Principal and COO of H&S Insights. With nearly 20 years of consulting and analytics experience in the electric utility industry, Josh supports the development of rigorous plans and cost-effectiveness analyses that provide clear insight into investment options and enable sound decision-making. He was a key team member during development of LBNL's national interruption cost model and Interruption Cost Estimate (ICE) Calculator, which has been used to inform over $100 billion of grid modernization investments. Josh has been involved in studies of 20+ pilots and programs related to traditional demand response as well as more advanced models/technologies (distributed energy resources, electric vehicles, energy storage, dynamic pricing and ISO market integration). Josh holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an M.A. in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco.
