Justin M. Woodard (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, USA, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He is currently a Principal Engineer with DER Innovation Group, National Grid, Waltham, MA, USA. Since 2004, he has been with the National Grid and has held various positions in the Engineering, Operating Functions, and New Grid Offerings, responsible for piloting and deploying a variety of new technologies.
