Kevin Ding

Director, Operational Technology Solutions, CENTERPOINT ENERGY

Kevin Q. Ding (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Houston. He has been with CenterPoint Energy since 2001 and his responsibilities include implementation, deployment and operation support of transmission energy management system (EMS), advanced distribution management system (ADMS), and advanced metering system (AMS). He is currently an Advanced Digital Systems Director of the Operational Technology and Cyber Security Division, CenterPoint Energy. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
