Tyler Byers is a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Itron, specializing in the development and deployment of advanced analytic solutions for distributed energy resource applications. Tyler has had a 20-year career in Data Analysis and Data Science, including nearly 8 years in the utility industry working on Demand Response and DER solutions. Tyler earned an undergraduate degree in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Arizona, and is currently working on a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Tyler works out of the Liberty Lake, Washington Itron office.
