Tyler Stanley
Tyler Stanley is a Principal Consultant and Manager of Integrated Distribution Planning at Dash Power Partners, a vendor-neutral grid engineering consultancy. He advises utilities and developers on integrated grid planning, DER interconnection, grid modernization, reliability and asset strategy, and long-term infrastructure investment. He also helps clients identify and implement practical AI solutions across planning, inspection, and engineering workflows.
Tyler has been in the industry for over a decade, and prior to joining Dash he held leadership roles at Versant Power, where he led integrated planning and DER engineering during a period of rapid renewable and distributed energy resource growth across Maine. He led cross-functional engineering teams and supported regulatory and stakeholder initiatives. His technical background spans protection and controls, distribution automation, and capital planning, and he advanced Versant's inspection and engineering programs through drone operations and emerging AI-enabled solutions.
Tyler's work sits where engineering, regulation, and commercial decisions meet: interconnection bottlenecks, policy alignment, financing and risk-modeling, and the integration of new technology and data. He has served on industry working groups and advisory boards focused on DER interconnection, energy storage, utility AI adoption, and transportation electrification, and has presented at regional utility conferences on integrated grid planning.
Tyler previously served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard, leading teams and providing critical asset security internationally. He is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine.
