As climate-driven events continue to increase in frequency and severity, electric utilities face growing challenges in maintaining a resilient and reliable distribution system. From wildfires across the Western U.S. and hurricanes along the Gulf and East Coasts to winter storms in the Northeast and extreme heat events nationwide, utilities must adapt to an increasingly complex operating environment.

In response, utilities are investing in a range of resilience strategies, including grid hardening and modernization, advanced monitoring and automation technologies, distributed energy resources such as energy storage and microgrids, and enhanced operational planning and emergency response capabilities.

This keynote panel brings together utility leaders to discuss the innovative approaches their organizations are implementing to strengthen distribution system resilience and reliability. Panelists will explore infrastructure, technology, and DER solutions; climate readiness and adaptation planning; advanced modeling and analytics; investment prioritization and performance metrics; and the emerging trends shaping the future of grid resilience. Join us for an insightful discussion on how utilities are preparing their systems and communities to withstand the challenges of tomorrow.
